I had the honor of being these two lovely ladies wedding photographer in San Rafael at The Outdoor Club this last month. First, what a gorgeous location! Every corner is full of vines, old brick and stone, vintage fencing, such a romantic backdrop for staging gorgeous portraits. Second, these two brides were equally gorgeous on the inside as they were on the outside. Their love and friendship was palpable, even for someone who does this a lot, me:) Sarah and Laurie had such an ease and gentleness between them, I got a little teary eyed a few times in the days activities, I know!
This wedding was non denominational but with Jewish elements, they were married under a Chuppa, both broke glasses and had a wild and rigorous Hora dance while all their guests threw the two brides around on two chairs! My second photographer, the lovely and talented Noelle Gaberman, captured a hysterical shot of me pointing terrified that Laurie, one of my brides, was about to be hit by the chandelier, thank god, no one was hurt, the merriment continued late into the night and I walked away being very grateful that I could be part of such a special day in these tow lovely ladies life.
